Concrete Types

Lightweight Concrete

Lightweight Concrete

EAGLE Lightweight Concrete (ELWC) is a lightweight concrete produced using selective grades of expanded polystyrene (EPS) beads as thermal insulating aggregates. ELWC is manufactured by mixing cement, sand, EPS beads, and chemical admixtures.

It combines the construction ease of concrete with the thermal insulation properties of EPS and is suitable where lighter loads, thermal insulation, or both are required.

Pervious Concrete

Pervious Concrete

Eagle Pervious Concrete creates a pavement that allows infiltration of rainwater rather than generating runoff. Due to this infiltration, groundwater supplies are recharged and pollutants are reduced.

Its interconnected void structure allows water to flow through at very high rates, making it suitable for parking areas, pathways, and other light-duty applications.

Polypropylene Fibre Concrete

Polypropylene Fibre Concrete

Eagle Polypropylene Fibre Concrete (EPFC) is versatile and can be used in most applications. It is added during batching, allowing thousands of individual fibres to disperse throughout the concrete, creating a matrix-like structure.

It is commonly used for roof slabs, external slabs, roads, pavements, overlays, water-retaining structures, and applications where improved crack control is required.

Foamed Concrete

Foamed Concrete

Eagle Foamed Concrete (EFC) is manufactured using special types of admixtures and is available in a wide range of densities to suit different application requirements.

The product is easily placed, with no compaction required, and is ideal for filling voids such as disused fuel tanks, sewer systems, pipelines, culverts, sub-screeds, and under-floor voids.

Coloured Concrete

Coloured Concrete

Coloured concrete is made using pigments mined from the ground or manufactured in chemical plants. These pigments may be in powder, liquid, or granular form and create a coloured tint throughout the mix.

It is suited for decorative pathways, blocks, walls, flooring, driveways, patios, and architectural features where a durable finish with enhanced visual appeal is required.

Self Compacting Concrete

Self Compacting Concrete

Eagle Self Compacting Concrete (ESCC) provides faster solutions where conventional compacted concrete has limitations in placement. It is highly fluid, flows and spreads effortlessly, and provides an exceptional finish with minimal effort.

Its fluidity and stability help fill complex formwork, reduce noise, eliminate vibration, and improve site efficiency for horizontal, vertical, and complex structures.

High Strength Concrete

High Strength Concrete

Eagle High Strength Concrete (EHSC) may be defined as concrete with a specified characteristic cube strength of 50 N/mm² and above. It is used in precast and in-situ works for demanding structural applications.

It is especially suited for offshore structures, tall building columns, bridges, shear walls, and foundations where high compressive load resistance and slimmer structural elements are important.

High Early Strength Concrete

High Early Strength Concrete

Eagle High Early Strength Concrete (EHESC) is a range of high early-strength concrete that speeds up construction by allowing quick release of formwork and faster progress on site.

It is developed for fast-track construction, thinner sections, carriageway replacement, airport hard standings, warehouses, precast structures, and other areas where early trafficking is critical.
